Dr Arturo Vela-Hernandez is an Assistant Professor for the Masters Program in Orthodontics at the Valencia University School of Dentistry, where he directs the Training Program in Low Friction Technique and Invisalign. He has been annual guest Lecturer for the Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics at the NCA University in Chapell Hill, USA (2007-2011), as well as being guest Lecturer at various Universities in Europe.
He is the author of numerous journal articles, abstracts, book chapters and lectures, and has addressed the Annual Meeting of the Spanish Orthodontics Society. He has been a keynote lecturer at the WFO meeting in Sydney 2010, an invited speaker at the Annual Congress of diverse National Orthodontic Societies, as well as many other Orthodontic Meetings all around the world, especially about Low Friction Techniques, Aesthetics and Finishing, and Aligners Orthodontics.
He received the “JM Moriyon” Award from de Spanish Society of Orthodontics in 2008.
Dr. Vela-Hernandez is an Invisalign Diamond Provider with an experience of more than 1500 cases, Clinical Speaker, European Key Opinion Leader, member of the European Orthodontic Advisory Board for Invisalign, and lecturer in the 2012, 2014 and 2016 Iberian Invisalign Ortoforum.
